Introduction
Mission
- To improve and sustain the quality of the teaching/learning processes in the faculty.
- To conduct Certificate, Diploma of Degree Courses in Health Sciences.
Accordingly the Department of Medical Education and Health Sciences undertook the mega task of developing Medical Education, Nursing programme and the Medical Laboratory Sciences programme under the three respective Divisions. Three coordinators were appointed to look in to these three Divisions. The objective of the Division of Medical Education is highlighted below;
Objectives of the Division of Medical Education
- To Develop, implement and review activities related to improving the efficiency of teaching.
- To identify problems and suggest methods to facilitate the interaction of the academic and non-academic staff of the faculty with a view to including the concept of team work.
